The exhibition draws inspiration from the festivity of San Jordi in Barcelona, where the tradition of exchanging books and roses symbolizes the sharing of stories and feelings. This event has stimulated a reflection on the role of the artwork as a means for personal narration.
Each work on display is conceived as the page of an intimate diary, a visual account of the artist’s personal experience. The materials used – canvas, paper, ceramic – become the support on which the silent words of art are inscribed: brush strokes, lumps of color, material surfaces or silent photographs.
The works act as representations of past moments, custodians of the memory of fragments of life, journeys and sensations. The artists, through their creativity, offer the public the possibility of accessing an intimate experience, transforming the work into a portal to specific thoughts and phases of their existence.
The exhibition invites the public to explore the works as chapters of a travel book, encouraging a deep reading of the personal stories that each artist chooses to share.
