Born in 1999 in the outskirts of Milan, Fabio Parisi graduated in architectural design at the Polytechnic of Milan, where he was won over by photography as a technical means to direct his creativity. He continued his studies in landscape architecture, while photography gradually became something more and more significant. As a completely self-taught photographer, he has always tried to find a safe and univocal way to create his images, trying to combat his creative disorientation, a theme that, together with his personal experience, has inevitably been reflected in much of his production, where the interest in the material concreteness of reality and the desire to know it clash with confusion and solitude. The sense of waiting and isolation that he experiences at the moment of the shot is the creative compass that also defines his interest in terms of scenes, atmospheres and subjects. Geometries and surfaces build non-places where disorientation is the destination.
