YAH Art Days

Sad about the end of summer? YAH is ready to lighten up the end of the vacations with a great event!

A 3 DAYS FESTIVAL DEDICATED ENTIRELY TO LIVE ART, MUSIC AND POETRY

YAH

ART

DAYS

CORPI DI TESSUTO

Joel Ivan Thomas . Mila Starosta

The first day opens with a bipersonal exhibition dedicated to two international photographers: Joel Ivan Thomas and Mila Starosta. The theme is that of an unconventional body, a skin that dresses itself and without belonging to any gender, free to fully express itself. Different skins, made of different textures, telling silent stories.

ATTRAVERSO LA MATERIA

Ado Brandimarte

'Attraverso la materia' surrounded viewers in a metaphysical aura, where the protagonist Ado Brandimarte, a sculptor from Ascoli, shows his sculptures in a magical garden. His works modernize the great classical sculptural tradition by involving the maximum systems: fullness and emptiness.

VENERI DI PELLE_INVITOLOGO

Veneri di pelle

'Veneri di Pelle' is a collective exhibition of young artists who, through their personal interpretation and artistic style, will reinterpret a woman with different bodies, different sizes, lines and shapes. The project is a tribute to the female body, a journey through the different canons of beauty, the nuances that make each body unique and wonderful. There are no imperfections, on the contrary, the intent is to put under the eyes of all those peculiarities that enhance the woman in her most intimate and natural appearance.

MATER TERRA

Irene Vesentini: Mater Terra

MATER TERRA

Mater Terra' is a photographic exhibition, which reopens the cycle of "physical" exhibitions, interrupted by the Covid-19 emergency. It is the personal exhibition of the very young and talented photographer Irene Vesentini. Class 96, born in Verona, already with a personal style that she has developed and continues to improve over the years.
The exhibition is a journey that starts from a research, where composition, color and light are the protagonists. The main theme that we find in her works is nature, the 'mater terra', which comforts her by creating a direct connection between her vision and her expressive medium, the camera, as if the photographs were an extension and went to investigate the invisible relationships that are created.

"His vision of idyllic nature holds a strong harmonious feeling. It leads the viewer's eyes into vibrant scenarios of light and shows the delicate power of each bud captured by the camera. Her attentive and patient gaze allows her to observe the sought after moments, carefully choosing the story she wants to tell".

Affordable Art Fair 2020

LAST AFFORDABLE

ART FAIR

IN MILAN

For the tenth edition of the Affordable Art Fair, Milan was covered with contemporary art lovers in the stands of one of the most famous art events in the world. The fair, which began on 6 February 2020 with its inauguration and ended on 9 February, is an important showcase for international collectors and potential new buyers on the art scene. The days were marked by interesting lectures on debut art, new technologies applied to art and how to start financing young art.

This year Almach Art Gallery has landed for the first time with its leading artists in the fair, exhibiting a Milanese reality full of artistic quality. Parliamo di Elia Panori, Leonardo Manzoni e No Soul.

Invito Illustrami LQ 2

Illustrami

Seven artists and seven poets have worked in pairs choosing a specific theme that can be expressed both with words and colours, creating a unique and personal product. The theme will not be imposed, rather, it will be left totally free for the children to express what they most desire. The evening took place like a poetry slam, where each poet will be able to read his writings accompanied by the related work, the guests, instead, will be asked to vote to determine the winning couple.

The evening was held as a poetry slam, where each poet could read his or her own writing accompanied by the related work, while the guests were asked to vote to determine the winning couple.

An evening dedicated to art and poetry, where artists and writers will confront each other on different themes letting their ideas merge into a performance between thoughts and colours.

The exhibition continues the cycle dedicated to the new promises of art, to which we want to give freedom of expression and which are required the maximum commitment and quality, to recreate that fabric rich in creativity of the art world, otherwise often stiffened behind pure market logic, which here can find new lymph and stimulus.

GALA INVITO copia

Gala

The evening was held as a poetry slam, where each poet could read his or her own writing accompanied by the related work, while the guests were asked to vote to determine the winning couple. Edgar Allan Poe

The project was created as a short film for the anniversary of the death of the famous American writer. It contains Poe's great literature and his sense of horror through framing and direction, by Vittoria Basile and Elia Panoriwhich reflect the sinister settings created by the set designer Giulia Caprawith the photographer's dark and chilling photographs Niccolò Misrachi, modern, underground and contemporary style, thanks also to the digital illustrations by Paola Bonacina.

Gala is based on the short story 'The Red Death Mask' It tells the story of a group of aristocrats safe in a mansion/fortress to save themselves from the plague contagion that reigns over the world.

Piece of my art invito copia

Piece of my art

Piece of my art was a collective exhibition of young artists who, through their own personal interpretation and artistic style, interpreted the three days of peace, love and music of the festival that marked the past century. The inspiration was taken from Janis Joplin's wonderful interpretation of "Piece Of My Heart" during the Woodstock concert in 1969.

Take A Piece Of My Heart by Janis here becomes a piece of my art. With the same passion seven young artists have been asked to live an event for them "past", but that always lives in the collective imagination, still influences the new generations, as a symbol of freedom, action and peaceful sharing of feelings and ideals.

LOCANDINA-1

Curated by Luca Temolo Dall’Igna ,Francesco Virgata and  Barbara Basile.
