Blooming Blood Post ufficiale

Blooming Blood

the exhibition

Flowing, dripping blood. Blood that takes the pain away with it, giving space to rebirth and blossoming, like the cycle of nature. Different stories of flows forced to remain silent, hidden and untold, now take their space to be able to express themselves without restraint, without secrets or fear of judgment.

artists

reportage

Blooming Blood is the union of two projects belonging to two different perspectives, united by feminine delicacy and a passion for analogic photographyLiving bodies that bleed in different contexts, are finally exposed and the flow is alive, natural and finally heard.
The exhibition, in collaboration with the Milano Photofestival, presents two penetrating visions on a dual topic concerning the menstrual cycle andself-harm.

To make these subjects elegant and at the same time intense, the two emerging photographers Alice Brizzi and Giulia Frumpworked together through analogic photography o give voice to testimonies, stories and depersonalized memories of their identities which until now could only remain in silence while now finally shout to the public the sensations they have experienced and continue to experience.

SOLSTETIC POST

Solstetit

Beneath the Surface Post 5

Beneath the surface

BENEATH THE SURFACE

Beneath the surface is an exhibition dedicated to the Global Artelier 21 collective, a group of women artists from Australia, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States.
A close-knit group born with the intention of bringing a breath of fresh air, a new way to express themselves through intrinsic and intuitive art.

Just as in life, first impressions do not always reflect what is around us, we need to explore deeper to understand what is hidden from our eyes. One needs to look beneath the surface to reveal the true nature of creation, to descend into the depths to truly know its history

The works of art presented are inspired by the layers of life, our past, present and future, an excursus into the lives of the artists on display, a laying bare suitable only for those who know and are ready to see beyond all these veils.

Biography

Mary Claire began young life with paper and art supplies always in hand. She thus attended Winthrop University to study Fine Arts with the intention of being an artist but with no real direction or voice. After a brief deviation from her passions to study law, she returned to art once her kids began to grow up. As both a practicing lawyer and artist, she finds the left brain/right brain blend improves the way she handles the tasks she is faced with. Being a Lawyer is relentlessly analytic, and she finds it lends her the ability whilst painting to make careful selections in mark making, value, color, and composition. This allows her to achieve a very specific result while editing the intuitive painting strokes; that are the very essence of her creative pursuit. The result is a beautiful balance of intuition and thought in each piece. Mary Claire grew up in the countryside in South Carolina and spent much of her youth hiking and wandering in the woods. She now draws much of her artistic inspiration from this passion - which she continues to practice. She seeks daily solace walking in the forest either alone or with her dog and kids. Her current artistic practice seeks the same sense of wonder and magic she feels when there. She is interested in creating a distinct mood and emotion within each piece, to create a dialogue with the observer and bring the collector’s vision to life.

NUMAN POST

Numan

20-30/4/23

In the near future, influenced by considerable changes in the field of technology, humanity recognizes itself as an art form, distorting today's concept of it and contributing as a tool for a more complete culture. Traditional, modern and contemporary art evolves in an in-depth recognition of the human in relation to nature, becoming the scenario and protagonist of a new movement. Digital art will be projected into every environment, the body will become the true artistic protagonist. A great transition in civilization needs a change of perception: the computer, what we call Artificial Intelligence, will be the spectator of the exhibitions. It will no longer be us who go to see an exhibition, but technology will learn by itself to recognize us as an art form.

In this future, the concept of "exhibition" is different, in fact the spectator becomes the protagonist. The YAH Factory gallery will host individuals who will undo their now obsolete vision to approach direct participation. In the two rooms, the gallery will change shape, introducing a divider between the introduction to this evolution (in the first room) and its actual realization (in the second). The exhibition includes the use of wall projections of experimental video art and refractions through mirrors, an engaging 360° sound experience. The main sensation that viewers will recognize is belonging to a new, fantastic place, like a "mind room" where to be the focus.

⁕ get inside your ego and dissolve it ⁕ ⁕ ideas are not the truth ⁕ ⁕ you are ready to give up art ⁕ ⁕ lose yourself to eat anything ⁕

Dissoul

Young Art Hunters is proud to present 'Dissoul', a revealing exhibition of fragments.

The exhibition, organized in the brand new The YAH Factory art gallery and curated by the Young Art Hunters association, which has always been involved in the promotion of emerging artists, is a collective of nine Italian and international artists who, through the use of their own technique and artistic expression have laid bare, exploring the innermost parts of themselves, dividing their IO into two different but complementary parts.

An unsettling find, a controversial technique, a revealing mirror, a penetrating vision. These are just some of the fragments of spirit that Young Art Hunters hosts in its gallery. In this act of cutting off part of the person, the will to keep veiled traces in the works of art is reported, therefore being able to be in several places at the same time, depending on the distance of the various pieces of oneself; when they are concentrated, as in this case, innumerable aspects can be recognized and all with great expressive power.

The exhibition continues the cycle of exhibitions dedicated to promising young art, always ready to answer the contemporary questions of today's society.

Biography

Giona Messina doesn’t know how to write a biography, perhaps it even slightly bores him. He was born in Terni, Umbria, in 1993, grew up in Catania, Sicily and currently lives in Padua. He started his artistic career in Sicily, but he soon found himself restricted. He wanders a a lot, not only for artistic reasons but also believing that the contact with himself and other people is the core of his experience. He doesn’t collect artistic experiences, dates, places, curators’ names, but he has fun playing in this world that he doesn’t fully understand yet. He gets lost, he finds himself, sometimes things don’t go well, others he’s simply not satisfied. He doesn’t work for material rewards but to enrich his own personal path.

Biography

Luigi Francischello was born in Zurich, he lived his early ages in Switzerland and Australia, he now lives in Italy. He has a graduation degree in "Academy School of Fine Arts" and been working in the art scene since the early nineties. He’s had solo and group shows exhibitions around the world. His works are part of public and private collections: “Museu da Cidade de Aveiro” collection, Aveiro Portugal and "SPACE" by Mazzini collection. Museum of Contemporary Art. Venice, Italy. “I believe that art is experience and expression of the soul and gives me the opportunity to deal with thoughts, with signifiers, and the accidentality of creative work." He's basically mostly entertained by sacral symbols, baroque ornaments, fine arts, literature. "The plenty of details, the incomparable simplicity and otherwise the complexity of it all, is a true inspiration and precious material for his artwork, a kind of cornucopia."

Hai buttato giù i raccordi

diventare in silenzio

illibata acqua viva.

Alessandro Salemi

A MARINA DI RAGUSA

È come se fossi ancora lì,

dove anche i pensieri diventano

ambrati,

prendono forme di dune

sinuose e indefinibili.

Anch’io come sabbia

mi sfarino,

mi faccio modellare dal vento,

finisco sulla pelle

o lungo la scia della strada…

Su quel lungomare

hanno transitato tanti miei sogni

innocenti.

Il cielo di Marina

sa che non sono ancora spenti.

Per questo ritorno

e sempre la magia si riaccende.

Non importa dove intanto

sia finita la vita.

Qui ritrovo me stesso

e soltanto la luna è la meta.

Alessandro Salemi

prendersi cura di me.

Ogni tua azione sembrava troppo,

ti chiedevi cosa provavo,

come prima,

Alessandro Salemi

Sei assorta così da sembrare

sempre in un altrove,

con i tuoi occhi profondi ed evasivi

che mi ricordano Roma.

Chissà dove sono in questo momento,

probabilmente in un altro antro di mondo

o forse rivolti a questa gretta realtà,

senza tanta poesia o giri di parole.

Parole, non hanno bisogno

di passare parole

lungo le tue gote scoscese,

lungo il solco disegnato dalle tue labbra…

Non bastano parole

per sfiorare i tuoi capelli biondi,

arsi, l’altro lato della luna

di questa mite e selvaggia

terra latina.

Alessandro Salemi

Ti sento lontana, sei assente,

Biography

Alessandro Salemi was born in Carate Brianza on September 2, 1991 and grew up in Besana in Brianza, precisely in the small bucolic hamlet of Brugora. He has Sicilian roots and, in fact, aspects of an ancient “Sicilianity” flow inside him, passed down in particular by his grandfather Luigi who was his mentor. Alessandro has been writing poetry since the age of 11. For him, writing poetry somehow has the same meaning as composing music for Amy Winehouse. She said: "Music is the only therapy that I have to make my failures into victory”. Alessandro, paraphrasing her words, states that poetry is the tool he has to cope with his emotions and tries to crystallize them to get relief or to highlight the sublime aspect of them. Letters were part of his education; after middle school, he decided to attend the Classical High School, where he graduated, but always experienced literary subjects as a constraint: he later decided to change his studies by enrolling first in Law and then in Political Science. It was thanks to Pier Paolo Pasolini that he rediscovered the beauty and investigative value of letters, and years later he decided to resume his studies, this time choosing the right ones for himself. Alessandro Salemi graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Modern Letters and he is now a master's degree student in Communication. After different work experiences, he is now a journalistic contributor aspiring to become a professional. Alessandro is happy to share his poems with Young Art Hunters, a laboratory of ideas and creativity, for him an expression of that enlightenment-romantic Milan that is always full of novelty and life.

EXPOSIOCIO’ INTERNACIONAL DE PINTURA Y FOTOGRAFIA, CASA BATLO’, BARCELLONA

The exhibition is a journey through five series, each with its own place, time and history.

THE EXHIBITION IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S FIRST SOLO SHOW IN MILAN, AT THE BRAND NEW VENUE THE YAH FACTORY.

RICCARDO BANDIERA

His is the cover photo for the October issue of "Il Fotografo" (2014) and the one for "ClickMagazine" (2019), while his other shots can be found published in the third and fourth volumes of "Stolen" (Australia), in "Fluffer" (#4 and #11, Italy), in "Elegant Magazine" (December 2015, France) and in the university magazine "Chaffey Review" (California, USA), in #42 of "It's Different Magazine" (Italy), in "Pretty Vacant" (Italy) and in "FotoCult" in April 2019.

The representations on the walls invoke innate courage, a willingness to express to the public the power of the young language, the desire to be able to assert themselves, to make a mark. The exhibition will be set up in the brand new venue The YAH Factory by Young Art Hunters, the name immediately suggests a connection, it was not chosen at random in fact but intentionally inspired by the Factory of Andy Warhol which in the 60s, was a reference point for creatives of all genres. From actors to street artists, the space with silver walls was not a place but the place par excellence where the artistic vein was the host.

The intent is to recreate an environment of exchange, of confrontation, a space for ideas and colors, made by artists for artists. The exhibition is the beginning of this journey and continues the cycle of exhibitions dedicated to promising young artists, always ready to answer contemporary questions of today's society.

big families never die

To the second edition of the YAH ART DAYS, our staff is proud to present the fifth edition of Illustrami, an exhibition dedicated to art and poetry, where artists and writers confront each other on different themes, letting their ideas merge into a performance of thoughts and colours. This year there is an additional novelty: the book “Illustrami Greatest Hits”

Order now!

On the second day of the YAH ART DAYS our staff is proud to present Unspoken: an exhibition dedicated to all things live! The exhibition presents itself as a dialogue between two realities that relate through the desire to renew themselves through performance. A real live performance based on painting and music, creating connections and inspirations from images and sounds. It will conclude with an exhibition of the works created at the time, together with an experimental DJ set and aperitif.

Biography

His works are a rhythmic interplay between transparency and inertia. Transparency makes one see through and beyond, while inertia is existence itself. His paintings evade the concept of drawing to indicate a new kind of freedom, like the nature of sound, where transparency and inertia meet. At the right intensity, clarity and frequency, Mahesh's works focus the senses and become a place where music can be heard. This is the art that the artist intends to create. The artist studied the techniques of fine arts as a pure passion to nurture his natural inclination to capture his images on canvas. Skilled in all mediums, he enjoys playing with chiaroscuro as much as he delights in everyday subjects, trying to symbolically represent a simple truth: there is joy in every little thing!

come ho fatto io.”

The exhibition, consisting of ten new paintings, becomes a moment of reflection for the viewer, a series of questions about existence and its potential. The artist offers a therapeutic vision of rich understanding towards the elusive concept of impermanence, observed from the point of view of the city that must always be renewed as in a cycle, valuing decaying parts to give them new life.

Shock In My Town

MOSTRA FOTOGRAFICA

Through the words of the great Italian artist Franco Battiato, who died a year ago, Young Art Hunters presents 'Shock in my town', an exhibition dedicated to the young promises of photography in the center of Milan. The exhibition is a tribute to the late master and food for thought for all his viewers: a glimpse into the world around us seen through the eyes of young people between hopes, worries and a strong desire for change.
